Tadwein for Gender Studies

Tadwein for  Gender Studies seeks to implement change that promotes gender equality. Established in 2014 to advance evidence based knowledge on gender related issues and to implement and promote programmes, policies, and actions aiming towards enhancing women’s status in the Egyptian Society.

In achieving the above values we—

Produce evidence-based research to inform advocacy and policy recommendations related to GBV.

Design and implement community-based interventions that aim at positive behavioural change

Foster collaboration between different national NGOs/initiatives working on similar issues to ensure effectively and sustainability

Utilize Information, communication and Technology (ICT) in designing media and awareness campaigns in order to reach out to different segments of the community with focus on young population.

Document and analyze stories and testimonies of women victims of GBV in both the public and private space
